The 95 and 96 models had a higher 1st and 2nd gear ratio than all others I believe. It's a vacuum actuated fuel tap ( petcock) it needs to have the vacuum line attached to function. You DON"T want to leave it in the prime position , this will cause flooding into your cylinders and crankcase contaminating your oil as the bike sits. 95 800A. Possible voltage regulator problem.
